Chory sustains grade I-II muscular injury

The non-physically fit players on the team focused on recovery work at the Ciudad de Málaga. Chory Castro underwent tests that confirmed the injury to his left leg.

Gonzalo ‘Chory’ Castro was substituted at half-time during #MálagaRealSociedad due to an injury whose diagnosis, after tests undertaken today at Vithas Salud Rincón Medical Center Rosaleda, determined an injury to the biceps femoris of the left leg (grade I-II), pending evolution.

The injured first team players, as is usual during rest days from group training sessions, underwent specific recovery treatment today, Tuesday at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.

The list of non-fit players, apart from players without a ‘ficha’, Juankar and Cengo – in Turkey with the Club’s permission – and the aforementioned Chory, is made up of Ricca (recent surgery on left shoulder); Rolan (internal vastus injury to right knee); Miguel Torres (hamstring contracture in right leg); Recio (sprained external lateral ligament in right knee); Juanpi (semi-membranous muscular injury in right leg); and Peñaranda (hamstring injury in left leg).
