Camacho: “Madrid had just two shots at goal and scored”
Málaga CF’s Camacho, Antunes and Willy Caballero appeared in the mixed zone at La Rosaleda after the game.
Midfielder Camacho states: “We got off to a really intense start, which we try to do in every match. Madrid only had two real shots at goal and scored, because they’re such great players. We’re playing much better I think, as we all know the importance of each match. I’m confident we’ll return to winning ways, today was a tough game but I think we played well,” affirms the Blue and Whites’ midfielder.
Antunes, who will miss out on the next match due to an accumulation of yellow cards, adds: “Málaga CF played a brilliant match against the League leaders who are playing amazingly well at the moment. We were definitely on a par with them tonight, and despite having a few goal chances, the luck we had against Osasuna wasn’t on our side this evening. If we continue like this, we’ll soon be further up the table,” explains the Portuguese-born winger.
Caballero talks about the Madrid victory: “One of the best players in the world scored the winner, but we played well. Diego López had to make a few saves as we came close to an equaliser.”
