On the pitch, full of emotion and covered in champagne, Ayala talked about the girls’ achievement. “I’m very proud to be a part of this family. This celebration is well deserved. Now it's time to enjoy and keep our feet on the ground,” he said.
Although there are five games remaining, the team has achieved 19 victories, two draws and remains undefeated in the league competition. The Blue and White coach affirmed that “not even the most optimistic person would have thought this. This category is so tough, and every team makes you work to the max. We have a very ambitious squad and, trying to forget last year's streak, we changed the mindset from minute one to look for goals. I’m super proud of the group we have,” Ayala added.
