With two matches remaining until the end of the regular league season in Third Division Group IX, Atlético Malagueño sang the winner’s song. Dely Valdés’ boys defeated Mancha Real (0-3) with a brace from Jaime Moreno (21' and 63') and a goal by Jack Harper (44') from the penalty spot.
The Blue and Whites’ reserve team has scored 92 points, seven more than the team in second place (Almería B). Out of the 40 matches played up to now in the regular season, the Malaguistas have netted 90 goals and conceded 28.
Now the group champion title has been won, Atlético Malagueño face another two league games before taking part in the promotion play-offs to Second Division B.
