Málaga CF will debut tomorrow in their seventh Copa de Campeones Juvenil against FC Barcelona in Castilla-La Mancha, where the boys are now resting.
The Blue and Whites departed La Rosaleda stadium on Sunday for Ciudad Real by road, arriving early afternoon. The players and coaching team are resting at their hotel, before lacing up their boots to take part in the final training session before #MálagaBarça tomorrow.
The Malaguistas are the current runners-up of the tournament, taking the crown of Spanish champions two years ago. They arrive at Castilla La Mancha with the hope of repeating the title win, and to do that will need to get through three knock-out, one-match rounds.
Málaga CF will face FC Barcelona in the first round. Both sides know each other very well as they locked horns in the first match of the competition last year. The Andalusians won by 4-2, allowing them to take part in the semi-final clash against RC Celta de Vigo.
Tomorrow, Monday at 19:00, the Malaguistas and Catalonians will meet again in the quarter-finals of theCopa de Campeones Juvenil, broadcast live on TV channel GOL.
