Atlético Malagueño

Matchday 11 in Subgroup B of Third Division Group IX, in which the reserve team claimed a point from a draw (0-0) at the Federación Malagueña de Fútbol ground against Antequera CF.

Julio, in minute 1 of play, and Rafa Camacho in stoppage time, generated the most promising opportunities for the Blue and Whites at the beginning and end of a highly intense, hard-fought game against a competitive Antequera.

After 12 matches, Malagueño are tied at the top of the standings with their next rival in the competition, Vélez CF, both with 21 points (Vélez have a match in hand).

Juvenil DH

Nacho Pérez’s side returned to competition with a win in Subgroup A of División de Honor Juvenil Group IV.

On this occasion, at the José Burgos Quintana in Coín, MCF enjoyed a 3-0 home win against Marbella outfit, Vázquez Cultural. Sergio Guichard (2) and Juanmita scored the Malaguista goals.

The Juvenil ‘A’ team will be in action again twice this week. On Friday for a previously reassigned match away to CD Santa Fe; and then on Sunday, again away from home, against UD Maracena.
