The team returned to training this Thursday morning at La Rosaleda’s facilities. As well as the homegrown players who made their first team training debut yesterday, another two joined today.
Following half an hour of a team talk and video session, the Blue and Whites moved on to the pitch at the Annexe around 11:30. The players combined technical and tactical exercises in today’s session.
Another two new Academy players joined the five new faces in yesterday’s session with the first team. Rafa Camacho and Marcus joined Salvi, Dean, Álex Calvo, Álex Jiménez and Carlos Torres, to make up for the absence of the usual homegrown players who were in action yesterday with Atlético Malagueño and juvenil División de Honor in previously postponed matches.
As well as injured Benkhemassa, Hicham and Alberto Quintana, also in the gym today were Lombán and Escassi undergoing preventive training.
Tomorrow at 10:00, Málaga CF will return to training at La Rosaleda Stadium to prepare for Sunday’s match.
