Another open door to Blue and Whites’ Values

The Málaga CF Foundation’s ‘Blue and Whites’ Values’ campaign today visited CEIP Manuel Siurot, a bilingual centre that warmly welcomed the Malaguista delegation, headed up by player, Keko Gontán.

The Club, via its Foundation, continues its campaign to promote healthy lifestyle and sporting habits throughout Málaga schools. The Manuel Siurot school, which welcomes students from the second cycle of early childhood education, primary and E.S.O, received Málaga CF with great joy and enthusiasm, full of ‘Malaguismo’.

Raul Iznata, coordinator and coach of MCF Femenino, acted as a perfect master of ceremonies in an event attended by Keko Gontán, accompanied by Blue and Whites’ player, Estefanía, as well as the charismatic Basti (MCF Foundation) and Mercedes Salinero (branch director - ‘la Caixa’ Social Project).

Following a talk by Iznata to the boys and girls at the school, which has ex Blue and Whites’ reserve team player, Carlos Rodríguez amongst the teaching staff, a video was shown of the Club players talking about ‘Blue and Whites’ Values’.

Afterwards it was the turn of the children to ask questions, mainly to Keko, who was his usual friendly self; questions including whether he speaks another language apart from Spanish, to which he answered: “Of course, I speak Argentinean, Ecuadorian, Peruvian…”, he mischievously responded.

At the end of the event, there was the usual gift of a poster of La Rosaleda with the name of the bilingual school whose slogan is: ‘An open door to Europe’.
