On 24th June, the Spanish Government’s Minister of Health, Carolina Darias officially announced that “the normal influx of the public will return” for the start of next season. Extraordinary news that was celebrated by everyone, signalling the end to this nightmare is ever closer.
For many it seemed impossible that this moment would ever arrive. It was like the silence in the stands would never end. However, our adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar didn’t appear to be too surprised. It was as if he already knew that this news would come soon. He made a wish for Malaguistas to return to La Rosaleda… Paco is a very wise man and he never lost hope.
Although all the details have not as yet been unveiled by the regional government and LaLiga of how stadium re-openings will work, what we do know is that Paco’s wish came true.
