The Peña Malaguista ‘Ciudad del Tajo’ in Ronda celebrated its 15th anniversary with a very special day attended by Blue and White player Diego Murillo.
The Ronda-based supporters’ group marked a significant milestone: the 15th anniversary of its founding. Fifteen years of history and a deep-rooted passion for Málaga CF have made the supporters’ club one of the main meeting points for Malaguistas in the Serranía de Ronda.
The celebrations were attended by a Club delegation led by first team defender Diego Murillo, accompanied by Francisco Martín Aguilar, protocol and institutional relations adviser, and advisory board member Antonio López. ‘Muri’ was keen to join the fans on such a special occasion and share in a celebration that reflects the strength of a passion that extends far beyond La Rosaleda.
The event was divided into two parts. The first took place at Ronda Municipal Sports Centre, where a visit brought the Club and its representatives even closer to the peña and the city. Ronda Mayor Mari Paz Fernández attended Murillo’s signing session with numerous children from the town.
The celebrations then moved to the San Rafael Civic Centre, where members of the Peña Malaguista ‘Ciudad del Tajo’ gathered for an emotional and memorable event, united by their excitement and desire to continue building many more years of history together. Pedro Corona, president of the Ronda supporters’ club, hosted the event, which was also attended by Miguel Molina, president of the Federación de Peñas Malaguistas, and representatives from several peñas across the province.
From the heart of the Serranía de Ronda, 15 years of history have now been written by a supporters’ club with more than 115 members and many more chapters still to come. Congratulations on 15 fantastic years!
