Within an intimate atmosphere, due to the Museo Picasso being at 30% capacity due to the Covid protocol, guests enjoyed a special gala. The time it was held and the reason why these awards take place each year give the event a unique character. And this time around was no different, despite the situation.

Firstly, the Social Entity 2020 Awards were presented. José Manuel Huesa, director of Centro de Producciones San Miguel Málaga, presented an award to Pablo Mapelli, director of Comedor Santo Domingo. The second was given to AFENES, represented by its president Carmen Sibaja, given by José Lebrero Stals, Museo Picasso Málaga’s artistic director. The third and final Social Entity Award 2020 was handed to Hermanitas de los Pobres. Sister Mari Ángeles received the award from Luis Merino Bayona, president of Fundación El Pimpi.

The Abdallah Ben Barek Award was next. Málaga CF advisers Abdallah Ben Barek and Francisco Martín Aguilar presented the award to Pepa Moreno, president of Rincón Fertilidad Málaga. Finally, the #SiempreFuerte Special Award was given to Antonio Banderas by Paco Ráez and José María Muñoz.

Despite the small number of guests, it was an emotional gala full of vibrant, unforgettable moments. We hope to meet again soon with the memory of Pablo Ráez always present and enjoy another magical day. Until then, stay #SiempreFuertes!
