The session kicked off with a video viewing, followed by the team moving to the Annexe to carry out physical activation exercises and work with the ball, as well as a specific pre-match focus on crosses, shots at goal and strategy plays.
15 of the 18 professional players were in training at full pace, with the usual absences of Orlando Sá, Lombán and Escassi (gym). Like yesterday, 11 reserve team and ‘juvenil’ players were in first team training, with the only change being Miguel de la Osa for Gonzalo in goal alongside Barrio and Soriano.
Another two homegrown players, Ismael and Hicham, alternated between specific training in the gym and on the pitch at the Annexe.
The called-up players will have lunch at La Rosaleda and at approximately 15:00 will leave Martiricos to travel by bus to Cartagena. Tomorrow, Saturday at 20:30 at Cartagonova, #CartagenaMálaga will get underway, corresponding to matchday 31 of LaLiga SmartBank.
