The player from Catalonia took part in a press conference this morning at La Rosaleda’s Juan Cortés press room, ahead of the match against CF Fuenlabrada. Víctor was asked how the team was facing such an important week. With all teams needing to obtain points to reach their objectives, Víctor commented. “We must go out there to win. There’s a lot at stake for them, but there is for us too. We’ve scored points from three consecutive games, but we want to win the three points each time,” said the Blue and White number ‘2’.

Víctor related the team’s improvement to the calm of recent weeks. “When the results don’t go your way, the players aren’t the same as when they arrived. We’re aware of the importance of Saturday’s match. The team is improving, we’re more solid. The goals will come. We’re going to Fuenlabrada to win,” said the Malaguista player.

Regardless of his position on the pitch, Víctor stressed that “the player needs to adapt to the position,” he said. In addition, when questioned about his individual level, he stated: “At the start I was at a very good level. Then it dropped, as it did with the whole team, but we have regained confidence. We’ll try to ensure each one of us reaches his best level and end the season in the best way possible.”

Lastly, Víctor highlighted the team’s intention of “certifying our hard work over the past weeks. We need the same points as they do. The fans are with us, and we’ll go to Fuenlabrada to try to win the match with them,” he added.
