Visit from Gaucín, full of Values

CEIP Guzmán El Bueno in Gaucín took part in the latest edition of Blue and White Values at La Rosaleda Stadium’s facilities.

Fifty students from CEIP Guzmán El Bueno headed to La Rosaleda this morning to enjoy a very special Malaguista educational day.

The initiative run by the MCF Foundation, supported by Fundación ‘la Caixa’ and CaixaBank, continues this 21/22 season, featuring enriching sessions for young Malagueños and Malaguistas from all over the province. Welcoming schools to Martircos, with the aim of promoting Blue and White Values and healthy habits, the visitors watch the first team in training and visit the MCF Museum, before receiving an informative talk in the Juan Cortés press room, where they meet and interact with some of their idols.

For the students from CEIP Guzmán El Bueno, as you could tell by their faces, today was very fruitful. Brandon (Málaga CF), Lorena Herrera (Málaga CF Femenino) and David Pascual and Jesús López (Málaga CF Genuine) answered numerous questions and conveyed how they defend and exemplify the Blue and White Values every day.

Brandon told the MCFTV cameras that “it’s been a joy.” The Malaguista number ‘9’ believes that “it’s very important for a professional footballer to transmit the values they have” because “they listen more to certain types of people, who could be their idols.” In addition, he highlighted the work carried out by the Club. “The work Málaga does is very important, the students coming here and showing us their support at La Rosaleda is great. We’re delighted with the work that the MCF Foundation is doing,” said the striker.

To bring an end to the day, the usual group photo was taken along to chants of Málaga, Málaga! What a great day!
