This weekend, Atlético Malagueño face the first final in the fight to reach the bronze division of Spanish football. After eliminating SCR Peña Deportiva in the second round of play-offs, the last obstacle separating the Malaguista reserve team and Second Division B is Asociación Deportiva Unión Adarve.
The first leg is taking place this Sunday at 18:00 at Polideportivo Vicente del Bosque, the stadium where the Madrid-based rival plays. The return leg will be held the following weekend at Ciudad Deportiva de la Federación Malagueña.
Manel Ruano’s team returned to training this Wednesday to prepare for Sunday’s important game against Unión Adarve. The Blue and Whites will be training until Saturday at La Rosaleda’s annexe, before travelling to the Spanish capital.
