Adriana Martín, Málaga Femenino’s new signing

The striker is delighted: “I’m very excited to start in one of the best clubs”.

Adriana Martín Santamaría (La Puebla de Valverde, 7th November 1987) arrives at Málaga CF Femenino to reinforce the Blue and Whites’ attack. Formed in the youth ranks of FC Barcelona, in 2005 she wore the RCD Espanyol shirt until 2009, when she won the Copa de la Reina.

National team

She began her journey with the national team at 17 years old, with the under-17s. Adriana advanced her career with the under-19s squad until she reached the first team. With Spain’s first team, she took part in the Euro 2013 in Switzerland.

National career

She has been part of clubs including Rayo Vallecano, CF Pozuelo de Alarcón, Club Atlético de Madrid and, recently, UD Levante.

International career

In 2011, Adriana combined her time with Sky Blue FC in the U.S, with a season with Atlético de Madrid Féminas. A year later, she signed to Western New York Flash, a North American team who won the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL). From the USA she moved to London, where she signed to Chelsea in the FA Women’s Super League.
