Atlético Malagueño
ATMalagueño| in midfield

The core of the Malaguista reserve team contains possession and controls the rhythm of play for the Blue and Whites, the highest-scoring team, and the one who has conceded the fewest goals in Third Division Group IX.

Manel Ruano’s engine room is a work of tactical engineering. His components, perfectly placed, develop play, destroy the rival and maintain possession of the ball.

Maty and José Carlos, although still at a young age, stand out for their maturity, great presence in midfield and their organisational capacity. Last month, they played an extraordinary role in the XXIII Copa de Campeones, in which they ended as runners-up.

Arturo and Castillo, for their part, have in their personal honours, the national juvenil title. The players developed in midfield, with whom Sergio Pellicer lifted the second Copa de Campeones trophy within the Malaguista youth ranks, and they were part of Malagueño this season. Both are perfectly matched to the reserve team.

Wingers, Mula, Alfred, Luismi, Galeano and Ontiveros bring speed and experience in equal parts. Despite their young age, all five players know the category perfectly well, and move like fish in water to bring depth to the Blue and Whites’ style of football.
