Sandro’s Euro under-21 journey gets underway on Saturday

The ‘Rojita’, who are one of the favourites to win the competition, debut tomorrow (20:45) against Macedonia. Portugal and Serbia complete Group B.

Málaga CF striker, Sandro Ramírez is now in Poland with Spain’s under-21 side, ahead of the start of the European championships of the category. Macedonia is the first obstacle for Albert Celades’ squad.

The competition gets underway on Friday afternoon, but the ‘Rojita’ are not in action until tomorrow, Saturday, when they will face Macedonia (20:45, at Gdynia Stadium).

Spain are in Group B, along with Portugal and Serbia. Group A is made up of England, Poland, Sweden and Slovakia, whilst the Czech Republic, Denmark, Italy and Germany complete Group C.

The Spanish outfit are seeking their fifth European crown, although in order to win they must compete with the best teams on the continent. Emerging stars such as Renato Sanches (Portugal), Bernardeschi and Donnarumma (Italy), Max Meyer and Gnabry (Germany), will fight with Sandro, Saúl, Williams, Bellerín, Asensio and company to win the European title.
