This Wednesday 26th March, the grand annual gala for the awards organised by the Málaga CF Foundation will take place, honouring the legacy of Pablo Ráez, the Málaga-born and universally recognised symbol of solidarity who inspires the awards with his motto, “Siempre Fuerte” (Always Strong).
As has been tradition since 2021, one of Málaga CF's main sponsors, Cervezas San Miguel, will once again collaborate with the event, showcasing its unwavering and historic support for the Club. The brewery, under its slogan “A union that tastes like Málaga,” is prominently featured on the video boards at La Rosaleda Stadium. Its involvement in not only sports-related but also charitable events is a testament to its loyalty and sense of belonging to the Blue and White colours.
In addition, under the patronage of one of the city's main symbols, Fundación El Pimpi continues to support the Club through the MCF Foundation, adding flavour and Málaga spirit to the awards. Its values and initiatives are deeply rooted in Málaga’s social, cultural, and gastronomic landscape, with numerous collaborators and a variety of NGOs funded to help those in need in the capital and the province.
This year, the iconic Cine Albéniz will host the 8th Siempre Fuerte Awards. Its main hall will serve as the venue for the gala, a historic place that can be described as the last bastion of classic cinema in Málaga, far from the commercial scene, with a programming full of alternatives, cycles dedicated to legendary directors, and historic films. It’s the perfect spot for cinephiles seeking more than the typical weekend releases.
Furthermore, the trio of main event sponsors is complemented by the support of the Málaga City Council and Málaga Procultura, a promoter of numerous audiovisual and cultural initiatives, with Cine Albéniz being one of its favourite venues.
