Pastor: “The key remains unity, the team, and the good group that we are”

The Málaga defender appeared at the 8th #SiempreFuerte Awards and shared his thoughts on the match against Real Oviedo at the Carlos Tartiere. “The goal is clear, it's the 50 points, and we won’t stop until we get them,” he said.

VIII #SiempreFuerte Awards

“I've been looking forward to coming here since the day they announced it. It's something very special, very beautiful in the city, and I'm very happy to be able to be here.”

Maintaining focus

“The other day we achieved a very important victory, we deserved it. We have to keep going and not lose sight of the objective, it doesn't matter that we've won. We have to go to Oviedo the same way, to win. It's going to be a difficult match, a tough ground, but we are Málaga and we fear nothing.”

The way forward

“The goal is clear: 50 points. We have 42, and we won't stop until we get them. We're not thinking about being safe, nor do we want it to be easy. We're going to keep working the same way and focus on Sunday.”

A family

“The key remains unity, the team, and the good group that we are. I believe that together we will achieve our goals, and we are giving a lot of importance to that. Training as we are and valuing victories like the one on Sunday.”

A very tough rival with a new coach

“Yes, they have a coach, they announced it recently, but it doesn't matter to us. In the end, they have very good players. Regardless of the coach they have, many things will change, but what's important about Oviedo is that they have players who are likely at a higher level, and we’re going after them. Every individual duel will be very important, and I think that will be the key to the match.”

First year as a Malaguista

“I think I'm having a good season. It's true that it's been a bit up and down, but I believe this is also a long-term project for me. I want to give my best, I want to improve in everything I can and bring out my best version.”
