Tribute to Infantil Femenino at La Rosaleda

The first Andalusian girls' team to win a male league was recognised by the Club at the Malaguista stadium, receiving the championship trophy and an affectionate guard of honour from the Supercapacitad@s.

Málaga CF Femenino Infantil enjoyed an unforgettable day at La Rosaleda Stadium yesterday, Thursday. The first Andalusian girls' team to win a league made up of male teams, Group 4 of Cuarta Andaluza Infantil, obtained well-deserved recognition at Martiricos.

Firstly, a delegation from the Club made up of judicial administrator José María Muñoz, sporting director Manolo Gaspar, women's section adviser Manuel Hernández Navarrete, and iconic player Isa Guerrero, congratulated the team on the Annexe pitch, highlighting an unprecedented feat in Andalucía.

Following this, on La Rosaleda’s pitch and with the families of the girls in the Tribuna stands, the MCF Foundation’s Supercapacitad@s School welcomed the team with a guard of honour from the dressing room until they reached the middle of the pitch. There, Lucía Torres, Delegate of Women’s Football at the RFAF in Málaga, presented the trophy to MCF’s Infantil Femenino team for winning the Cuarta Andaluza Infantil Group 4 title. In addition, José María Muñoz presented a replica of the cup to all the team members, coached by Ortiz and Burgos.

An afternoon that will be forever remembered for the team that achieved a feat in the history of Andalusian football.

Congratulations again, champions!
