Thursday is training day for Málaga Genuine. This week they’ve been in action at La Rosaleda Stadium and it was a different session than normal, a day before travelling to Bilbao for the third and final phase of LaLiga Genuine Santander.

Before running on the pitch at Martiricos, the pupils from the Supercapacitados Football School, accompanied by MCF Foundation sponsors, gave a guard of honour to Infantil Femenino who less than a week ago won the league made up of male teams.

It was the prelude to a host of matches, where all the Málaga Genuine players shared an afternoon of football and values with employees from different departments within the Club. Present was José María Muñoz, Málaga CF’s judicial administrator, as well as representatives from the MCF Foundation sponsors, and Mercedes García Paine, delegate of Education and Sport at the Junta de Andalucía.

Sebastián Fernández ‘Basti’, from the MCF Foundation’s Social Department commented on the goings-on on the pitch throughout the day.

This special day with the Malaguista Family also served to cheer on the Málaga Genuine squad, who are traveling to Bilbao today, Friday, to participate this weekend in the third and final phase of LaLiga Genuine Santander 2021/22.
