Málaga CF never walks alone. As is tradition in the last LaLiga Santander match of the season in the Spanish capital, members of the ‘Peña Boquerones’ in Madrid visited the NH Collection Eurobuilding hotel where the team is concentrated, to give them a boost ahead of this evening’s match (18:30) against CD Leganés.
In addition, president of the ‘peña’, Fernando López, handed a plaque to the best Malaguista player of the season. On this occasion, the accolade went to midfielder, Recio, who was unable to collect his award as he’s recovering from injury and not travelling with the team. Josemi, Malaguista team delegate, was in charge of collecting the award on behalf of the Blue and Whites’ captain.
The event, held at one of the hotel’s lounges, was attended by Malaguista Club advisers, Abdullah Ben Barek and Francisco Martín Aguilar, as well as the aforementioned Josemi.
