The MCF Academy knocks on the first team’s door

Up to seven homegrown players are in pre-season training with the first team. MCFTV spent an afternoon with Kellyan, Gonzalo, Ismael Casas, Abqar, Ramón, Iván Jaime and Hugo. Find out more about them in this report.

Like every pre-season, a large presence of homegrown Malaguistas join the first team to undergo the pre-season stage. This season, seven young talents from the MCF Academy are in training under the orders of Víctor Sánchez del Amo during the Blue and White team’s stay in Estepona and Benahavís.

Kellyan (goalkeeper) is the oldest, although he’s only 20. This is his third pre-season with the first team and here he introduces his teammates one by one: Hugo (winger, 19 years old) Iván Jaime (midfielder, 18), Abqar (central defender, 20), Gonzalo (goalkeeper, 19), Ramón (midfielder, 18) and Ismael Casas (right-back, 18).

MCFTV gets access to their rooms and finds out how they spend their free time, their favourite foods, likes and hobbies, amongst other details.
