How good to see everyone again for such an exciting activity! The Málaga CF Business Club visited the Ascari Race Resort and enjoyed a fantastic day with the Malaguista Family.
After undertaking the antigen tests, the members of the MBC enjoyed their first in-person meeting this 20/21 season. The event was attended by José María Muñoz, judicial administrator; Manolo Gaspar, sports director; Sergio Paulo Barbosa ‘Duda’, head of the MCF Academy; and Sebastián Fernández ‘Basti’ from the MCF Foundation’s Social Department.
During his welcome speech, Muñoz thanked the businesses linked to the Blue and White club for their support. In addition, he thanked the Diputación Provincial de Málaga on becoming the Club’s main sponsor for the upcoming 21/22 season and expressed his satisfaction at Mayor of Málaga Francisco de la Torre’s wish for an increase in municipal contributions to bolster the Club, youth ranks and MCF Foundation.
Daniel Montes, head of the marketing team at Grupo Safamotor hosted this event, the first to be attended by MiColchón, the first year with The MBC for one of MCF’s premium sponsors.
Following the safety briefing by the instructors, the participants were divided into three teams: Audi, Porsche and BMW. The car models driven were Renault Clio RS, Lotus Eclipse and Radical on the Ascari Circuit.
After all the excitement on the track, the traditional family photo was held together with the Grupo Safamotor cars on display, followed by lunch and the usual gift presentation by the Club.
An unforgettable day, during which as well as feeling like Fernando Alonso, the MBC members returned to long-awaited face-to-face networking.
