This was the Málaga Business Club’s first event of this current 22/23 season, held outside La Rosaleda Stadium. The site chosen for The MBCs ‘I Gastronomic Tournament’ was unbeatable, the Soho Boutique Castillo de Santa Catalina hotel complex.
The event was held in collaboration with Soho Boutique Hotels, which made a spectacular location of its fantastic hotel chain available, and Sabor a Málaga, ensuring an unforgettable gastronomic day.
The majority of the members of the MBC (totalling 28 businesses) took part in this event dedicated to cooking, featuring a taste of Málaga. Representing the Club were adviser, José Antonio Ruiz Guerra; department heads, Carlos Arias and Ana Vera; and Lucas Rodríguez and Basti from the MCF Foundation.
There was a cooking contest with four teams that each prepared an avocado ‘ajoblanco’ with pomegranate and prawns from Caleta de Vélez, as well as rice with anchovies from the bay of Málaga. Rather than winning, the most important factor was the good atmosphere and the 'networking' to further unite the 'Malaguista Family'.
The members of the Málaga Business Club have carried out their first joint action of 2023 at Colegio Los Olivos. Pickleball, a new sport, was the chosen activity to start the year.
Málaga CF’s Business Club moved its traditional Christmas lunch this year to Mollina. Malaguismo amongst the vineyards to toast a 2023 full of health and success.
The group of businesses linked to Málaga CF travelled to the Aragón capital together with the team and watched the match from the stands at La Romareda.
