‘The League of Gregarious’

Former cyclist from Asturias, Luis Pasamontes visited the Ciudad de Málaga stadium last week, where he gave an interesting talk to the Malaguista first team about the importance of teamwork.

Pasamontes, a professional racing cyclist for 12 years, part of elite teams such as Relax Fuenlabrada and Movistar Team, coinciding with current world champion, Alejandro Valverde in the latter, is a sports mentor serving as a lecturer since 2013.

His good relationship with Málaga CF coach, Víctor Sánchez del Amo, and Blue and White masseur, Marcelino Torrontegui was decisive ahead of the coaching talk given by Pasamontes to the first team, titled ‘The League of Gregarious’.

With a clear educational and learning slant, Luis Pasamontes’ speech revolved around the importance of gregariousness, an indispensable element of teamwork in cycling, making parallels with football and always thinking about the team over the individual.

The Málaga CF squad enjoyed an enriching talk within this ‘training’ session, that MCFTV shows you in a special MCF Inside.
