The squad will return to work, following the post-season holidays, on Wednesday 5th July. Under the orders of coach, Míchel González, pre-season training will kick-off with a considerable number of Academy players. Namely:
- Goalkeepers. Reserve team’s Samu Casado and juvenil, Kellyan García.
- Defenders. Juvenil right-winger, Álex Robles.
- Midfielders. A total of four midfielders: Arturo from the reserve team; juveniles, José Carlos and Maty Tajti, plus Deco, who was loaned out to Second B side, Barakaldo last season; as well as reserve team player, Mula and juvenil winger, Hicham.
- Strikers. Versatile Atlético Malagueño forwards, Kuki Zalazar and Jack Harper.
A clear commitment to the Academy, which includes three elements who regularly participated with the first team last season: defender, Luis Muñoz; midfielder, Javi Ontiveros; and striker, Youssef En-Nesyri.
