On 15th June 2008, the high temperatures at La Rosaleda didn’t prevent the same amazing atmosphere. The Málaga fans, once again, filled the stands at La Rosaleda, getting behind the team in what was a memorable match.
Málaga CF started off against CD Tenerife with Iñaki Goitia in goal; Jesús Gámez, Rosario, Weligton and Valcarce in defence; Cheli, Carpintero, Apoño and Calleja in midfield and Antonio Hidalgo with Nabil Baha on the attack. Later on, Peragón, Eliseu and Sandro joined play.
The two goals from Hidalgo (43' and 70') gave way, after the final whistle, to an explosion of joy that painted every corner of the province Blue and White.
Ten years later, this feat inspires us on our way back to LaLiga Santander.
