Juankar Pérez has undergone medical tests today that have confirmed a tear to the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
The Blue and Whites’ player sustained the injury in minute 36 of the first half of #RealMadridMálaga on Saturday. Following the tests undertaken this morning at Vithas Salud Rincón Medical Center Rosaleda, it has been confirmed Juankar is suffering with a tear to the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. In addition, as is normal with these types of injuries, the player has a sprain to the internal lateral ligament in his right leg.
Whilst waiting for the inflammation to go down to enable improved joint mobility, the Malaguista number ‘7’ awaits surgery, at a time and date yet to be determined.
Meanwhile, Recio, who ended the match at the Bernabéu suffering with injury discomfort, is awaiting an MRI today, Monday to assess the contracture to the Blue and Whites’ captain’s left hamstring.
