Following this afternoon’s training session and the announcement of the team line-up for tomorrow’s match against Villarreal CF, coach, Bernd Schuster held a press conference at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.
The German-born coach believes the team is ready for tomorrow’s game: “We’ve had enough time to recover from the last match to be fully prepared for tomorrow.” Schuster talks about the team’s hard work: “The team is getting stronger and the recent results don’t reflect the work we’ve been doing.”
Schuster continues. “It’s the small details that we need to fine-tune to stop our rivals getting the better of us. Sometimes we feel comfortable on the pitch, and other times we lose our stride, which has led to some disappointing results.”
With regards to Villarreal CF, the ‘Malaguista’ coach adds: “They’ve got three or four quality players that make all the difference, and they’ve been making the most out of being in the top part of the League table since the beginning of the season.”
