Atlético Malagueño take on Melilla B on Saturday

Atlético Malagueño’s home match was brought forward this weekend, as the Blue and Whites’ reserve team takes on Melilla B on Saturday at 12 p.m. at the ‘Federación Malagueña’ ground. The visitors requested the time change for transportation reasons.

Salva Ballesta’s boys are preparing for the 16th match of the season, without Jurado and Mauri through injury.  The Blue and Whites won their last match, following three previous defeats, and are aware of the importance of three points from this game, as well as from the match in hand against Villacarrillo – taking place on Wednesday 5th December at 8 p.m., and the 19th match of the season (brought forward) against Villares on Sunday 8th at 6 p.m.  Victories would see the boys become provisional group leaders.

Melilla B are currently in 15th place in the group with 15 points, although they defeated Español del Alquián in the last game by 3-1.  The rival is an unpredictable side, with the players moving around depending on the needs of the first team.  They are an experienced side in this category, with a strong attacking power and the ability to unsettle any rival.

Tickets for this Atlético Malagueño match at the ‘Federación Malagueña’ ground are priced at one euro for Club members, and five euros for the general public.

Atlético Malagueño line-up: Toni, Sergio (goalkeepers), Víctor Ruiz, Alberto López, Mosquera, Álex Portillo (defence) Rafa, Marrufo, Deco, Ernesto, Pablo and Vela (midfield), Rufo, Samu Castillejo, Juanpi and Pirulo (forwards).
