“They are games that we didn’t like to play in that way, but the team is aware they weren’t playing at a high level of competition, and that’s something we need to regain. We’re heading to a stadium that has been tough for us in the past, but where we’ve gained positive results, and we need to focus on bringing home the three points”.

Sandro's inclusion in the line-up

“He’s been working hard to be back within the group. It’s his time now and I hope he continues to respond in the same way, and it’s good for him to be back with the team”.

“They are a strong team, that will continue to fight until the last minute. The crowd push a great deal, but we need to isolate ourselves from their fans. We know how difficult this match is going to be, but we will have our options and could surprise them.

“These are always tough games, hard-fought until the end. It will be difficult for both sides; we won’t be able to rest until the final whistle if we want to achieve a good result, as they are a team of 94 minutes”.

Support from Sheikh Al Thani

“He continues to believe in the squad and the coaching team. He has backed the project and the team at all times. He knows this situation will change, because we’re a good team made up of quality players”.
