The left-winger has been suffering with discomfort since last season, that tended to reappear after a period of improvement. The pain in his shoulder has increased in recent weeks, so it was decided that he should undergo surgery at Complejo Hospitalario Integral Privado (CHIP) in the capital.
First team traumatologist, Vicente de la Varga, along with doctor Manuel Godino – specialist in arthroscopy and shoulder surgery – were in charge of Ricca’s operation, under the supervision of the Club’s head of Medical Services, Juan Carlos Pérez Frías.
