Happiness

“I’m happy to be here, it’s where I wanted to be. When you feel the fans’ support, everything is much easier. From the first moment, this Club made me feel there was a real interest, and amongst us all we’ve managed to reach where we are today”.

Enjoyment

“On a personal level, I feel this is the best moment in my career. I’ve arrived at a place where there’s a lot of excitement to see the Málaga we’ve seen before, that the fans enjoyed. The people want to enjoy watching football, and it’s our job to make that happen. Everyone quickly grasps that feeling and need to enjoy”.

Adapting

“Adapting to Málaga is very easy. The climate and the people are perfect conditions to focus on getting physically fit and creating a compact group within the Club. Looking back at the history and the organisation, we have everything we need to ensure things go well and we enjoy what we’re doing, which is a privilege”.

Dressing Room

“It’s a fantastic dressing room, made up of young players and lots of eagerness to improve. There are also many known teammates from the national squad, the lower categories and other teams. It takes little time to adapt and it doesn’t take much to feel comfortable”.

Competition

“The end of the season was pretty positive for everyone, and the more we enjoy what we’re doing, the more the fans will enjoy it. That is the path we must follow. The more competition there is, the better it is for the team. I was with Andrés last year, we know each other, and it’s great to work with the boys from the youth ranks every day. Everything looks phenomenal”.
