Ricca: “At home we need to claim the three points”

The Blue and Whites’ left-back visited CEIP Ricardo León as part of the MCF Foundation’s ‘Blue and White Values’ campaign, and affirms that “we’re working hard, and are focused on scoring the three points” against Girona FC.

Statements by Fede Ricca

Point earned in Eibar

“I think the other day, at a difficult ground, the team did a good job. The point, in the situation we’re in, is little. However, we had many options to win, with scoring opportunities following the 0-1 lead; that said, we came back with a point, and on Saturday we need to win all three”.

Girona, next rival

“We must score a lot of points during this second round, starting on Saturday. Girona? A team that is having a good season, with style and a very clear way of playing. We’ve been working this week on how we’re going to play, and, naturally, concentrating on scoring the three points”.

Physical condition

“That injury is now behind me, although it gave me numerous problems as I had to have two operations, but luckily it’s now in the past. Matches allow you to regain the rhythm of competition, but I think I’m fine”.

Winter transfer window

“It’s always a good thing when new players bring something to the team, and we will welcome them in the best way we can. It’s always about contributing, and in this second round, winning all the points that we need”.

Fans

“They’ve been supporting us all season, despite the situation, encouraging us in every game, and we’re going to continue fighting and giving our all. We hope we’ll score the three points on Saturday. We are very clear. We cannot let any more points escape, at home we need to claim the three points, starting on Saturday”.
