Return to Málaga

“I wanted to breathe the Málaga air again. I had the chance to speak to everyone this morning, greet everybody and give them some encouragement. We know we’re in a difficult situation, hopefully with the change of coach things will improve and we can start winning now”.

Final stretch of the season

“Those of us who have been in this position before now, know that the sooner we get out of this situation the better. The team needs to start scoring points now, as the last five or six matches are going to be tough, so the team must get out of the relegation zone and rely on themselves”.

Permanency struggle

“It’s totally different, people must try not to get into this situation, as we also count on a bit of luck within the suffering. Málaga is a great Club that doesn’t deserve to be at the bottom, but that has to be shown on the pitch and the day to day. The entire second round is ahead, and I think we can improve a lot, and end the season in a comfortable position in the standings”.

Malaguista fans

“We have to congratulate them, from what I’ve seen from the outside, they’ve received and supported the team at all times, they will continue to support us, and I’d like to say hello to them all as I really miss the warmth of these supporters. I ask the fans to continue supporting the lads, the team really needs you, and let’s all get together at La Rosaleda this weekend to spur the team on to win the three points”.
