Málaga Club de Fútbol’s first team returned to training this morning, Tuesday 6th March, at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium, after having had two days’ off.
The session was charcaterised by initial physical work, followed by various ball possession exercises, passing and shooting practice and a match on a reduced pitch. The only absentees were the injured Julio Baptista and Sergio Sánchez, who were continuing with their specialist recovery programmes in the centre’s gym. Later, Sánchez trained out on the pitch with recovery coach, Hugo Camarero.
Willy Caballero, Rubén, Kameni and Pol, the only reserve present, worked under the orders of goalkeeping coach, Xabi Mancisidor.
Blue and Whites’ sporting director, Antonio Fernández, was also at this morning’s session, the first of the week – a week which will end with the league clash at La Rosaleda against Levante on Saturday 10th at 6 p.m.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 7th Match, the Malaguista first squad will return to train at the Ciudad de Málaga from 10.30 a.m.
