The first of two sessions with various incidents

Málaga Club de Fútbol had their first training session of the day between 10 a.m and 11.30 a.m this morning at the Cuidad de Málaga stadium.

The Blue and Whites alternated between the usual physical exercises and ball work, with the injured Baptista absent.

Sergio Sánchez participated with the group for some exercises as he is progressively being reincorporated into the session.  He also did some specialist work with the auxiliary coach, Enrique Ruiz.

Enzo Maresca is laid-up with a viral infection and Jesús Gámez retired from training early after twisting his right ankle which will be assessed ahead of this afternoon’s session.

The Dutch striker, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, remained in the gym; whilst goalie Pol, the only reserve present, worked with fellow goalkeepers Willy Caballero, Kameni and Rubén.

This afternoon, from 5.30 p.m, Málaga CF will return to train at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.
