The team undergo their second session at the Ciudad de Málaga

The Malaguista first team, after training this morning, have completed their second session of the day this afternoon at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.

 
Manuel Pellegrini’s squad trained between 5.30 pm and 7.00 pm, in a session based on jogging, group rounds, matches on a reduced pitch, and the usual final stretching exercises.
 
Jesús Gámez was doing specialist work separately from the group due to spraining his right ankle in this morning’s session, although he’s expected to make a speedy recovery

Both Van Nistelrooy and Enzo Maresca exercised at a normal level with the group, whilst Joaquín is laid-up with a viral bug.  On the other hand, Sergio Sánchez was with Enrique Ruiz, the auxiliary coach, for some specialised training.

In addition, goalkeeper Pol was one of the four Atlético Malagueño players who were present; the others being defender Julián and the midfielders Alexis and Cristian Márquez.

Tomorrow, at 10.30 a.m, Málaga CF will return to train at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.
