Penultimate training session of the week before the next league match
Málaga CF trained this Thursday morning at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium. After the initial warm-ups and rounds, the team prioritised mini-matches in a reduced space, plus pass and shooting exercises, in the hour and a half session.
Practically the whole squad trained at a normal level under the orders of manager Manuel Pellegrini – except for the injured Baptista. Sergio Sánchez and Rosario alternated between doing individual specialist work with auxiliary coach, Enrique Ruiz, and taking part with the rest of the group. Away from the squad was Jesús Gámez who remained in the gym before doing some light ball work on the pitch with physical recovery coach, Hugo Camarero. And for another day, the reserve goalie, Pol, was also at the first team’s training.
Tomorrow, at 10.30 a.m, Málaga will train in a closed session at La Rosaleda. At midday, the list of those Blue and Whites who are called-up for Saturday’s match against Levante UD will be published.
