A tear in his right soleus myotendinous during the physical rehabilitation, caused by his long period of inactivity, has delayed his return to the squad. Authorised by the Club and the Medical Services, the forward will travel to Brazil to continue with the recovery treatments which he has already begun.
Baptista, who has practically finished the post-op recuperation period following surgery to repair a broken sesamoid in his right foot, will complete the recovery in his native country before returning to Spain to rejoin training sessions with his Málaga Club de Fútbol teammates.
