Málaga CF – Granada CF ‘B’ match preview

Málaga CF Femenino face Granada CF's reserve team on matchday 11 of Group 3 of the Segunda Federación. The match will take place on Sunday at 12:00.

The Blue and Whites are 7th in the standings with 16 points, while the Granada team is 2nd in the table with 21 points, in a promotion playoff spot.

Héctor Díaz’s team will be aiming for their fourth consecutive win, after securing three victories in the last three league matches. Granada’s B team, on the other hand, comes off a 2-1 home win over Femarguín from the Canary Islands and a 1-2 away victory against Córdoba CF in their most recent away fixture.

The visitors have won 7 of their 10 league matches (3 losses), scoring 21 goals, one fewer than MCFF, and conceding 11. Ameyaa Success and Ana María Martos, both with five goals, are the Red and White team’s top scorers. Sonia Torralvo and Lucía Nunes, former Malaguistas, now line up for the opponents.

Arantxa and Alicia, each with five goals so far this season, are two of the Blue and White squad’s most in-form attacking players. The last home encounter, a perfect precedent, ended in a resounding 7-0 victory over Juan Grande from the islands.

The Ciudad Deportiva Fundación MCF (H4 Field with artificial turf) will host an exciting match that, in the event of a Málaga victory, would bring MCFF just two points behind the Granada side, currently in second place in the league.

Vamos, Málaga!
