Phase 4 held this weekend in Vila-real brought an end to a new LaLiga Genuine campaign, the fifth since it began in the 17/18 season, in which the Supercapacitad@s Football School has participated leaving its unmistakable mark at every venue.
In terms of the results, the MCF Foundation lost its three games played in the Villarreal Phase, but actually won all three. Numerically, there were “defeats” by 3-1 against SD Eibar and 0-4 against host Villarreal CF yesterday, and this morning by 2-1 “against” RCD Mallorca.
Yet our Supercapacitad@s achieved the maximum score (40) in each of the matches, for a total of 120 points, in the 'Fair Play' section. Thanks to this, they rose to second place in the COMPAÑERISMO Group, only behind Club Gimnàstic de Tarragona, the final champion.
Overall, counting the 44 participating clubs in the DEPORTIVIDAD, COMPAÑERISMO and RESPETO Groups, Málaga Genuine finished in a fantastic third place with 487 points.
A true team made up of players and coaching staff, with the support of numerous family members, who enjoyed the finale of a competition in which everyone wins. The president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas, accompanied by former CD Málaga player and president of the LaLiga FOUNDATION, Clemente Villaverde were present at the closing gala, which featured the traditional presentation of medals to the participants and champions.
