The annual gala organised by the MCF Foundation will take place on 18th March at the Cine Albéniz.
On Thursday, the voting for the 9th edition of the Siempre Fuerte Awards, the social awards promoted by the MCF Foundation, took place. The awards ceremony will be held on 18th March at the Cine Albéniz in Málaga, with the time yet to be confirmed.
Each year, the Siempre Fuerte Awards recognise individuals and organisations that stand out for their social commitment and for embodying values such as solidarity, perseverance, and equality, keeping the legacy of Pablo Ráez alive.
The awards are organised into three categories: the Social Entities Award, the Abdallah Ben Barek Award, which is linked to the values of sport, and the Special Siempre Fuerte Award, an honorary prize for individuals who stand out for their social commitment.
The jury that deliberated at La Rosaleda was made up of 11 members: José María Muñoz, president of the MCF Foundation; Francisco Martín Aguilar, MCF Protocol and Institutional Relations adviser; Sebastián Fernández “Basti” and Lucía Cereto, representing the MCF Foundation; Paco Ráez, father of Pablo Ráez and honorary member; Recio, player of the men’s first team; Futu, player of the women’s first team; and Adrián Iglesias, player from the Supercapacitad@s Academy, representing Málaga CF; as well as Francisco Cantos (councillor for Social Rights, Diversity, Equality and Accessibility of the Málaga City Council), Mariola Vergara (Deputy for Equality, Social Services and Families of the Málaga Provincial Council), and Alba Ortiz (coordinator of the Andalusian Youth Institute), representing the City Council, Diputación, and the Junta de Andalucía.
The winners of the 9th edition of the Siempre Fuerte Awards will be announced soon, in the weeks leading up to the gala on 18th March.
