Peña Malaguistas del Guadalhorce celebrates Málaga Femenino

Women’s first team players Cristina Postigo and Encarni Carneros attended this recognition event undertaken by Blue and White fans, commemorating the team’s promotion to the First Division.

On Saturday 9th March, the Peña Malaguistas del Guadalhorce “Juanmi” held its traditional annual dinner to mark it’s seventh anniversary. Seven years of support and unconditional love for Málaga CF.

On this occasion, the group of Blue and White supporters wanted to acknowledge Málaga CF Femenino for the girls’ achievement last season in moving up to the First Division - Liga Iberdrola – of women’s football in Spain.

Málaga CF Femenino earned promotion to Liga Iberdrola last May after a magnificent season in Segunda División Femenina Group IV, and their achievement was recognised at this event in Coín.

The celebration, which took place at Restaurante Platero, was attended by women’s first team players and stars of the promotion to the elite, Cristina Postigo and Encarni Carneros.
