Paulino de la Fuente, quality and freshness for the Malaguista attack

The young player from Santander, who arrives as a free agent, becomes a Blue and White player for the next two seasons.

Paulino de la Fuente Gómez (Santander, 27 June 1997) is a talented and creative attacking player with experience in LaLiga SmartBank. Despite his young age, he played 31 games – 24 in the starting line-up – last season in the ranks of UD Logroñés.

Paulino stood out from a very young age. At just 16 years old, he was recruited by Inter Milan, where he was in action with the first team in a summer preparation match against Mainz 05. The player from Santander, who had already debuted in a friendly with Santi Denia’s 'Rojita' Under-16s, debuted with an assist and a goal. He later returned to Spain to join the Juvenil DH of Atlético de Madrid and, subsequently Deportivo Alavés 'B'. In the ‘Babazorro’ reserve team he stood out for his quality and leadership, which made him team captain. His great role allowed him to make the jump to professional football with UD Logroñés. His role with the Red and Whites sparked the interest of various coaching departments within the category.

The player joins the Málaga CF project as a free agent. The imaginative and electric attacker reinforces the squad that is gradually emerging for the start of the upcoming 21/22 season.

Welcome to your home, Paulino. Here’s to ‘Giving Your All’ here!
