Pau: “We’re in a strong position and will fight for our place”
The young left-back appeared in the mixed zone at Tartiere following the 0-0 draw with Real Oviedo: “In the end we kept a clean sheet, one of our objectives”, said Pau Torres.
Good draw
“We end the year by scoring a point away from home. The team wanted to come back with all three, but we’re happy. Oviedo is a difficult ground and we had a bit of luck with the occasions that hit the post, but in the end, we kept a clean sheet, one of our objectives”.
Well-placed
“We’re in second place, we’ll see what Dépor does, but we must stay focused on ourselves and not look at the standings until later. We’re in a strong position and I believe many teams will be fighting for a place at the top”.
Past and present
“We leave satisfied for the Christmas break, we would have liked to have been leading the table, but we’re in the top part. Málaga suffered relegation, which is hard for any club, but has known how to reinvent itself and form a good squad and coaching team. We’re going to fight for something great but stay calm”.
Christmas message
“I wish all Malaguistas good health for the future and we hope to bring many joys in 2019”.
