Pablo: “It’ll be great but difficult against Barça”
The Málaga CF midfielder affirmed that “there’s no better way to head to Camp Nou than with that last win against Sporting de Gijón.”
The previous triumph and the match against Barça
“We want to get the three points at home and carry on with the current spell that we have at our home ground. It’s important to keep on with the victories. We’re now off to a very difficult ground. But there’s no better way to head there than with that last win against Sporting de Gijón and the strength that we have at home.”
Goal against Sporting de Gijón
“That kind of uplift is important and even more so at home. I’m happy with the goal, but it’s not really my role. You’ve always got to help the team with goals and getting more points is always welcome.”
Getting into the Eleven
“It’s the boss who decides. Right now I’m training in the eleven, but also it has to be remembered that there are, unfortunately, some important team members who are currently out. I’m hoping not to return to the bench, but if I do I will accept it and will keep on working hard to get back in whenever I can.”
Under 21s
“I’m 20 years old and my head’s not completely there yet. I could’ve gone in the Under 21s, but the boss decided against it. I’ve got to keep on working to demonstrate that I can be there.”
FC Barcelona, a good team
“So far ahead, in midfield and in defence, they have the best players n the world. It’s going to be a great match but very difficult. We’re hoping to work at it well and that we make it hard for them if they want to win over us.”
