The Malaguista players already premiered the look during the preseason in Holland and in the first games of LaLiga. Now it’s the turn of the formal outfir, which consist of an Italian-cut marine blue wool suit, a cotton shirt, tie, and matching shoes and belt.
The squad will adorn the new suits during their trip to take on FC Barcelona at Camp Nou on Saturday 19 November. “It’s an honour that Málaga CF is representing our values in and outside the city,” affirms Marcos Gálvez, Selected’s brand manager.
The men’s fashion label with a base in Malaga city has signed this season an agreement of collaboration with the Club to dress both the players and the coaching team. Selected Homme has collaborated with the team in previous season, including when Málaga CF returned to the First Division in the 2008/09 campaign.
“There exists a strong link between the brand Selected and Málaga. We want to support the city’s team; together we can raise the roof of La Rosaleda,” comments Pedro González manager of the clothing company.
